Der Ultrastar Serv60 + 8 verfügt über zwei leistungsstarke Intel® Xeon Scalable CPUs, um die Anforderungen zur Bewältigung anspruchsvoller Workloads, in Software Defined Storage (SDS) Umgebungen, zu liefern.
Besonderen Einsatz findet dieser Server besonders in Private Cloud und Archiv Umgebungen. Mit über 1,2 PB mit den  20 TB SMR HDDs im Gehäuse bietet es eine hohe Packungsdichte. Mit einer Auswahl an CPUs, Arbeitsspeicher und Laufwerken bietet es die Flexibilität, Leistung und Kosten in Einklang zu bringen.
